Every year, the city of Roskilde in Denmark hosts one of the biggest European music festivals, attracting hundreds of thousands of music lovers from all over the world. The Roskilde Festival was established in the early 1970s, inspired by the music culture of that time. Since the 1990s, it has become a major event for the electronic music industry.

The Nude Run (July 4)
The Nude Race, a once-controversial event at Roskilde Festival, has found a new home and revival within the festival community. Following its closure in 2014, several camps in Dream City took the initiative to resurrect the race, ensuring its continuation with coordination, registration, and execution now overseen by Camp Turist Misinformation. The race, spanning approximately 300-600 meters around Dream City, offers a unique spectacle for festival-goers. Scheduled for 2 pm, 15 men and 15 women will vie for the coveted title of "Winner of Dream City Nude Race 2024," with the added incentive of receiving a Roskilde Festival 2025 ticket for the first man and woman to cross the finish line.
Tickets
A full festival ticket, covering all eight days of the event, including camping, is priced at 2400 Danish kroner plus a fee. For those interested in attending single days, tickets for Wednesday and Thursday are available for 1200 Danish kroner each plus a fee. Friday and Saturday day tickets are sold out.
Getting There
Tickets for the shuttle buses, which accept MobilePay or credit card payments, can be purchased onboard. Shuttle services include routes between Entrance East and Roskilde Station, Køge Nord, Høje Taastrup, and Copenhagen, operating at various times throughout the festival. Additionally, a daily train service operates between Roskilde Station and the festival site, with the train arriving at the camping area West. Tickets for the train cost 25 Danish kroner. For cyclists, free bicycle parking spaces are available near Entrances West, East, and North, while those walking from Roskilde are encouraged to enter through Entrance North. If arriving by car, consider utilizing drop-off zones or paid parking areas, which open on June 29 and operate 24/7 until closing on Sunday, July 7 at 5 pm.
Camping
The campsite at Roskilde Festival is sprawling across 80 hectares of land, providing ample space for festival-goers. Individuals can choose to bring their own tents or opt to rent them from festival organizers. The campsite, June 29 at 4 pm until Sunday, July 7 at noon, boasts various amenities, including food stalls, shopping facilities, cloakrooms, showers, and toilet facilities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay throughout the festival. Additionally, various accommodations are available for booking in Roskilde for attendees desiring traditional hotel comforts.
