The Erie County Fair is a celebration at Erie County Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania, where people of all ages have lots of fun. This festival features different children's activities, entertainment, food, merchandise vendors, truck pulls, agricultural competitions, demolition derby, harness racing, and many other fun activities. Anyone can join this event and spend a few days with like-minded people.
Fair Program
The 139th Erie County Fair at Wattsburg will take place from August 26 to August 31, 2024. One of the main highlights of the fair is Harness Racing, which will take place at 2 pm on August 26, 2024, and at 2 pm on August 27, 2024. Admission to the racing is free. Bullride Mania will present their show at the Fair on August 29, 2024, at 7 pm. Royal Legacy Circus will perform daily.
Other attractions include Queen, Jr. Miss, Princess, Jr. Princess & Tiny Princess contests. The Queen Contest will take place at 2 pm on August 25, 2024. Food Trucks will be serving delicious treats at the Fairgrounds from 11 am to 8 pm. August 28th is a Senior Citizen Day, with free admission (does not include rides) for all senior citizens over 65. The program features Senior King and Queen contests and Polka Music by the Joe Matczak Orchestra from 5 to 8 pm.
Tickets
A general admission ticket to the fair is $10. It includes parking, gate admission, rides, and midway entertainment. It does not include Thursday and Friday night Grandstand entertainment. A weekly pass is $12. It includes parking, a gate entrance, and midway entertainment. It does not include rides and Grandstand entertainment on Thursday and Friday nights. Children ages 5 and under always have free admission. Military Retirees, Active Military & Reservist also get in for free. A ride upgrade costs $5 per day.
