Every October since 2000, more than a million people flock to Yeouido Hangang Park to witness this grand display of fireworks. The festival is truly world-class with participants not only from South Korea but also from Japan, Australia, Italy, and the USA. The fireworks are accompanied by music, laser light shows, and videos resulting in the ultimate visual treat!
Other fun activities include concerts, racing events, balloon art, face-painting, and caricature sketching. Firework displays begin around 8 p.m. so make sure to secure a good spot beforehand. Head over to the front of 63 City Building to get the best experience! Don’t like crowds? There are great spots which offer more peaceful air such as Hangang Observatory, Nodeul Island, and Yeouido Hangang Park. We advise you to check the dates of the festival in September because they are due to change.
