Every June, Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, KY, hosts a six-day fair, packed with livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, horse shows, carnival rides, and other family-friendly entertainment. Separate attention is drawn to contests, such as Miss Kentucky County Fair, Miss Teen Kentucky, and even Little Miss/Mister. Admission commonly cost $5 on Monday through Wednesday and $10 on Thursday through Saturday. You can also purchase a wristband for $15. Ten-year-olds and under get in for free.
