Big Knob Grange Fair is an annual occasion, running in Rochester, New Sewickley Township, Pennsylvania, over five days in late August and early September. The mixed program of the fair embraces agricultural exhibits, livestock, midway rides, live music, food and commercial vendors, and children's activities. But the main crowd-pleasers must be truck pulls, tractor pulls, and a demolition derby.
Tuesday Highlights (August 27, 2024)
On Tuesday, visitors may turn their attention to open-class livestock, Home and garden exhibits, a parade and opening ceremonies with Freedom Big Red Marching Band, a High School Band Showcase, bingo, goats and lambs judging, and many more activities to experience a Fair atmosphere.

Fair Wednesday invites you to join rabbit judging, Horse Show Pleasure Classes, Hog & Steer Judging, Demolition Derby in partnership with Derbydog, bingo, and a plethora of other things.
Thursday Highlights (August 29, 2024)
On Thursday, Fair organizers prepare, among other events, for Dairy Cattle Judging at the Livestock Arena, a stuffed pork chop dinner, the Kids Power Wheels Demolition Derby, the Big Knob Livestock Club Awards, and bingo.
Friday Highlights (August 30, 2024)
On Friday, visitors can expect a fish or ham loaf dinner, pony pulls, the Kids Power Wheels Demolition Derby, Tractor and Truck Pulls with Full Pull Productions, and bingo.
Saturday Highlights (August 31, 2024)
On the last day of the Fair, attendees can participate in Antique Tractor Pulls, a cornhole tournament, the Horse Show, Bull Riding Mania Rodeo, and countless other activities.
Events Hours
On Tuesday, the Fair events run from 8 am to 7:15 pm; on Wednesday, from 10 am to 7 pm; on Thursday, from 9:30 am to 7 pm; on Friday, from 4 pm to 7 pm; and on Saturday, events operate from 8 am to 11 pm.
The Big Knob Fair was established in 1938, and since then, it has grown into one of the favorite local festivals, drawing tens of thousands of visitors. Along with the evolution of the fair, the exhibition area has been replaced by many new buildings. The track was also reconstructed, along with new stands. Now, the fair lasts for five days, during which approximately 40,000 guests attend the event.
