Wings Over Camarillo is an annual celebration, run by Camarillo Wings Association (CWA) at Camarillo Airport over a weekend in late August. The main action takes place in the air, featuring over 80 aircraft, which include vintage jets, transport planes, WWII fighters, and bombers. Besides, you can take advantage of public access to airplanes and pilots.
In addition to the air displays, the fun-packed program on the ground includes a classic car show, a veterans hangar, a reenactment camp, vendors, and other family-friendly entertainment. If you're into science, technology, engineering, and math, make sure to visit the STEM Pavilion too.
2024 Program and Schedule
In 2024, the public will see heart-stopping aerobatics, vintage aircraft from WWII, Korean and the Vietnam war, and classic biplanes. STEM Pavilion features a Classic Cars show from 9 am to 5 pm as well as hands-on exhibits, robotics exhibitions, and Static Aircraft on Display, available from 9 am to 5 pm. On both days, the National Anthem and Services Salute will be performed at noon, followed by air displays, European Military Theater with Pyrotechnics, and a Classic Car Show Parade at 1: 50 pm. Pacific Military Theater with Pyrotechnics will perform at 3 pm. The airshow concludes at 4:40 pm. Food and Merchant Vendors will operate from 9 am to 5 pm. Online General Admission Ttickets for adults are $30. Children (6-16 years) pay $10. Active Military w/ ID pay $20.Tickets Purchased at the Gate are $40 for adults and $20 for children. Active Military w/ ID pay $30. Children, aged 5 or younger, get in for free. General admission doesn't include reserved seating. Chairs and blankets are recommended for personal comfort. Small umbrellas are also allowed. Coolers, pets, food and drinks are not allowed. General admission parking is free, Paid premium parking is also available.
