The annual Door County Beer Festival, held at the beginning of summer at About Thyme Farm in Baileys Harbor, is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, live music, excellent local food, and beverages!
Craft Brew Tasting
Door County Beer Festival features more than 150 beers, culinary artisans, and live performances in the picturesque location. Over 40 distinguished breweries and microbrews from all over the Midwest present their best products and technology, giving you an opportunity to sample their brews. Attendees can learn about the brewing craft at informational seminars by brewmasters, cheesemongers, and local chefs. You'll have a chance to find out the secrets behind some of your favorite beers right from their creators.
While you're sipping on a glass of refreshing beer, treat yourself to some culinary delights presented by local vendors at the venue. The menu features traditional BBQ, festival food, and so much more! A welcome addition to this weekend, One Dan Man Band will showcase his versatility by performing pop, rock and folk songs on the Door County stage.
Schedule
The festival runs from 11 am to 4 pm. The tasting tents open early to those with early access and welcome holders of general admission tickets at 12 pm. Live music begins at 11 am and spans until 4 pm. The food court starts operating at 11 am.
Admission & Transportation
General admission is $55. It includes unlimited tastings, live music, and a commemorative tasting glass. A VIP option with early access to the venue is also available for $75. If you need a designated driver after the festivities, consider buying a $15 designated driver ticket for your friend.
The festival provides shuttle service to several lodging facilities, such as Baileys Grove Resort and Baileys Harbor Yacht Club. The best thing about them—these shuttles are completely free to use, so consider swapping your car for a bus ride on the way to the festival, since parking is not allowed at the venue.
