Napa Valley Jazz Getaway is a perfect combination of wine and jazz in the heart of California’s wine country. The 5-day festival is held in Yountville, surrounded by picturesque vineyards, with concerts occurring in Lincoln Theater and other venues.

Talented jazz artists perform Smooth Jazz, R&R, R&B, and other genres. With a lineup that includes Morris Day & The Time, RnR: Rick Braun and Richard Elliott, Jazz Funk Soul, Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark, Lindsey Webster, Paul Taylor, Adam Hawley, Julian Vaughn, Marcus Anderson, Jeff Kashiwa, Eric Marienthal, Ragan Whiteside, Nicholas Cole, Mr. Talkbox., there's a lot to hear and see. The festival, organized since 2011 by jazz musician Brian Culbertson, should be on the bucket list of every jazz enthusiast.

Festival Hours and Schedule

The Napa Valley Jazz Getaway runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at Grand Reserve at Meritage Resort on Blue Note Napa Stage from 7 pm to 10 pm. However, the Welcome Dinner & Jam Session at The Westin kicks off on Wednesday with special guests Eric Marienthal and Marcus Anderson in the Solera Courtyard at The Westin Verasa. On Thursday, "Wine Down" at The Westin Verasa lasts from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Guests can enjoy complimentary Napa's top wineries wine tasting and listen to Eric Marienthal & Ragan Whiteside. The Concert at Meritage Resort takes place from 7 pm–10 pm, featuring a Jazz Funk Soul performance, followed by a Brian Culbertson & Friends show featuring Paul Taylor and Lindsey Webster.

A Festival Friday starts with "Wine Down" at The Westin from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, followed by a Concert at Meritage Resort at 7 pm. The After Party at The Westin starts at 11 pm and lasts until 12:30 am. The Friday Night Funk Party will make guests paint the town red. On Saturday, there also will be Wine Down" at The Westin and a Concert at Meritage Resort, featuring Brian Culbertson & Friends Show featuring Twinkie Clark, Jeff Kashiwa, and Mr. Talkbox. A last festival day will contain an exclusive event for VIP attendees, Sunday Brunch & Jam Session at The Westin, lasting from 11 am to 1 pm.

In addition to music, Napa Valley offers plenty of outdoor activities like biking, golf and visiting the wineries of the region. Yountville is located northbound and an hour away from San Francisco if you decided to get there by car. The town is named after a pioneer George Calvert Yount, who supposedly founded the first vineyard here. It's a posh destination for gourmet dining featuring two venues with Michelin stars.
